Support Program I Title
DHS
Class of 1956 Memorial Fund Support Program II. Purpose
Acknowledge classmate, spouse, or companion who is
seriously ill, or has passed away.
A. Death
a. If
requested, Offer
assistance to the family in the planning and execution of a Memorial
Service.
b. Send
a DHS Class of 1956 floral arrangement with ribbon if appropriate to
funeral or memorial service.
c.
Accommodate surviving family’s requests for memorabilia available
for loan for memorial service.
B. Illness
a.
Appropriate cards shall be sent to hospitalized or convalescing
classmates, spouses, or companions.
b. If feasible, Classmates may
visit hospitalized or convalescing within the Greater Portland area. III. Donations

Funeral, Celebration of Life, Memorial Services
a. Expense for floral arrangements with DHS Class of 1956 ribbon shall not exceed $100. B.

a. Contributions shall be voluntary. Amount shall be at the
donor’s discretion.
b.
Memorial Fund contribution amounts shall be anonymous.
c. Donations may be made at any time annually.
d.
Payments shall be made payable to the DHS 1956 Memorial Fund, and
sent to Association Treasurer.
e.
Treasurer shall deposit contributions to the DHS 1956 Alumni Memorial
Fund Account.
f.
Donations are to be sent with Memorial Fund form. Click
